Drink Driving in Glasgow

On Pollokshaws Road, Glasgow our client was accused over driving carelessly whilst 4 times over the drink-driving limit (when the limit was 35 microgrammes). She had been recommended to contact our Firm by a friend who had successfully used our services in the past. There was a lengthy procedural process in this case with the fault lying entirely with the Crown. We successfully argued that the prosecution had lasted far too long and proceedings ought to be brought to an end. The Court agreed with our legal submissions and refused the Crown further preparatory time notwithstanding the serious nature of the charges. Our client who had no previous convictions and a high profile job was delighted with the outcome.
