Penalty Points 42mph In 20mph Limit

Our client accepted driving at 42mph in a 20mph limit, his speed having been detected by a Unipar SL700 device. We managed to persuade the Court to deal with the matter by the imposition of penalty points rather than exercising its powers of discretionary disqualification. Only 4 penalty points were endorsed on his licence along with a modest financial penalty. This was a fantastic result for travelling at more than 100% in excess of the speed limit. Our client kept his licence, his employment and the family home.
