Dangerous Driving Hamilton 5 Points

Our client was accused of driving dangerously by almost running another vehicle off the road.

The incident was reported and we were recommended by a police officer.

Our client was anxious to retain his driving licence and vehemently denied that his driving had been dangerous. In fact, the other vehicle had been travelling at an excessive speed and was at least as culpable as our client; however, as the other driver reported the incident, it was our client whose licence was on the line.

We were able to negotiate a very soft plea on the morning of the trial and our Mr Simpson mitigated on our client's behalf.

The Sheriff imposed 5 penalty points on our client's licence and fined him £425.
