60mph in 30mph Limit Dangerous Driving 6 Points

Kept Licence
Hamilton Sheriff and Justice of the Peace Court

Our client was caught travelling at 60mph in a 30mph on Airbles Road, Motherwell. The case was reported as dangerous driving and we were instructed to defend the charge. The case lasted for 18 months and was eventually dealt with by Hamilton Sheriff Court on 16th September 2020. In the end we were able to secure a plea to the much-reduced charge of careless driving.

This case was a triumph of negotiation.

The Sheriff considered our mitigation and endorsed our client's licence with 6 penalty points and imposed a fine of £150.
