Careless Driving At Paisley

Kept Licence
Paisley Sheriff Court and Justice of the Peace Court

This client was accused of careless driving after his car was involved in a collision with a motorcycle.  As a serving firefighter, the potential consequences of being convicted of driving without due care and attention were significant.

Our investigations, which included identifying a local bus driver as an additional witness that the police had missed, showed that it was the motorcyclist, not our client, who was at fault.  Representations to the Crown in light of the new information resulted in them making the correct decision: the prosecution was discontinued; not guilty.
