Careless Driving Smash Glasgow Not Guilty

Kept Licence
Glasgow Sheriff Court and Justice of the Peace Court

This matter called for trial in Glasgow on 24 June 2019. The court heard from 7 witnesses in total in relation to an incident involving a fairly serious collision at a junction in the centre of town back in October 2017. We were able to elicit evidence that the complainer was speeding at the material time and, through our own investigations, managed to locate and cite an independent witness who countered the position advanced by the Crown witnesses. The court agreed that it could not be said the offence libelled had been committed beyond reasonable doubt and our client was found not guilty.
