Our client was falsely accused of dangerous driving by reversing into someone and failing to report the accident/fleeing the scene. Following the trial, the Sheriff was not satisfied beyond reasonable doubt that the standard of driving was dangerous nor that our client had fled the scene and failed to report the accident. Accordingly, our client was formally acquitted of the charges which could have led to his disqualification for a minimum period of 12 months.
