Drunk In Charge Hamilton

Kept Licence
Hamilton Sheriff and Justice of the Peace Court

While Mr Lyon was doing battle in Edinburgh, our Mr Simpson was embroiled in a trial at Hamilton Sheriff Court.

Our client had been accused of being 'in charge' of his motor vehicle whilst over the prescribed limit.

The case ran to trial and evidence was led from police witnesses and defence witnesses, and a detailed defence toxicology report was admitted into evidence.

The Court was persuaded that there was 'no likelihood' of our client driving his car whilst over the limit.

Our client was found NOT GUILTY after trial on 4th April 2024.
