Dunfermline Failure To Report Accident Charge Dropped

Kept Licence
Dunfermline Sheriff Court and Justice of the Peace Court

Our client lost control of his vehicle during a snowstorm and collided with a fence. He alighted from his vehicle and could see no damage.

Several months later the police attended and advised that he had in fact caused damage to the fence.

The case was reported to the Procurator Fiscal's Office and a criminal case was commenced against him.

We were instructed to try and secure an acquittal.

On 30th March 2022 we managed to persuade the Crown to drop the case.

Our client's licence was retained.
