Elgin Drink Driving Lawyer Licence Retained

Kept Licence
Elgin Sheriff Court and Justice of the Peace Court

Our client was accused of drink-driving with a very high reading of 123ug per 100ml of breath, the limit being 22ug.

We managed to persuade the Crown to accept the alternative of 'being in-charge' of the motor vehicle. Thereafter, the case called for sentnece on 13th July 2023 at 10am and the Sheriff - notwithstanding the high reading - permitted our client to retain his driving licence, albeit with 10 penalty points endorsed thereon. He was also fined £420.
