Head On Collision Careless Driving 6 Points

Kept Licence
Dunfermline Sheriff Court and Justice of the Peace Court

Our client was negotiating an s-bend when an item fell from his passenger seat onto the footwell. The sudden loud noise distracted his attention momentarily and his vehicle straight-lined the bend into an on-coming vehicle.

Both vehicles were written off as a consequence and the driver of the other vehicle suffered serious though thankfully not life-changing injuries.

Our client attempted to deal with matters himself and called us later on in proceedings. We were able to negotiate a lot of the most damaging parts out of the libel.

Our Mr Simpson appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on 4th August 2021 and delviered a plea in mitigation. Our client's licence was endorsed with 6 penalty points and he was fined £750.
