Lanark Speeding Charge 107mph Kept Licence

Reduced Sentence
Lanark Sheriff Court and Justice of the Peace Court

Our client was caught travelling at a relatively nippy 107mph in a 70mph limit on the M74 Southbound close to junction 13 Abington.

His licence was essential to his employment and he was extremely worried about this matter. He had been recommended to contact our office by a family friend who had used our Firm before to defend a similar allegation.

In this case we advised our client that an early plea of guilty - in conjunction with his clean driving licence - was the most likely route to retaining his driving licence.

We attended Court with our client and managed to persuade the Justice of the Peace to refrain from exercising his powers of discretionary disqualification. Our client's licence was endorsed with a relatively low 5 penalty points and a modest financial penalty.

As a Firm of expert road traffic solicitors in Lanarkshire we always act in the best interests of our clients and that often results in the advice being tendered that a plea of guilty is in order. If you require legal advice for a road traffic matter in Lanark or anywhere else in Scotland.

There was no risk to our client's licence and was defended solely on a point of principal....
