Lochgilphead Dangerous Driving Licence Retained

Kept Licence
Lochgilphead Justice of the Peace Court

Our client was accused of travelling at 111mph in a 60mph limit as the lead car in convoy with 3 other vehicles. He was prosecuted for dangerous driving and instructed our Firm to deal with the charge.

We received all the evidence in the case and entered into negotiations with the Crown.

Following a lot of back and forth, ultimately we persuaded the Procurator Fiscal to reduce the charge to careless driving, and reduce the speed to 'up to 90mph'.

Our Mr Simpson made the 17 day voyage (actually 3 or so hours) to Lochgilphead for the plea to be tendered.

Our client's licence was endorsed with 6 penalty points and he was fined £640.

An outstanding result.
