Our client had received papers in relation to a speeding allegation at Nuneaton Street in Glasgow. With nine live penalty points on his licence it was imperative for our client to avoid conviction. We noticed that there was a technical issue with the drafting of the complaint in relation to the speed limit and, having raised the matter with the Crown, our client's plea of not guilty was accepted. It is important to remember that the Crown don't just have to prove the speed, but also the speed limit.
