Our client was originally charged with speeding at 114mph on the M74 at Larkhall. This type of speed in Hamilton would inevitably result in a not insignificant period of disqualification. We were able to negotiate the speed down to 99mph with the Crown and the Sheriff was ultimately persuaded to impose 5 penalty points in respect of the matter.
