Serious Injury Reduced To Careless Driving

Kept Licence
Falkirk Sheriff Court and Justice of the Peace Court

Our client was involved in an incident that resulted in injury to a cyclist. She was charged with a contravention of the Road Traffic Act 1988, Section 2C - causing serious injury by careless driving.

She denied the allegation.

On 26th June 2025 our Mr Simpson attended Falkirk Sheriff Court and negotiated a plea to careless driving. This resulted in 6 penalty points and a fine of £1,200.

Our client was delighted to keep her licence.
