Time Limit For Mobile Phone Offence

Kept Licence
Glasgow Sheriff Court and Justice of the Peace Court

Our client was faced with a prosecution for using a mobile phone whilst driving. The citation was served more than 6 months after the offence date thus the Crown were barred from proceeding with the case. We met with the Prosecutor at Court and advised of the situation and the case was swiftly discontinued.
