Our client was facing almost certain disqualification for speeding at 99mph in a 70mph limit. He already had 6 penalty points on his licence and had pleaded guilty by letter prior to seeking our expert legal advice. We were drafted in to rescue his licence and after our plea in mitigation, the Court was persuaded to deal with the matter by the imposition of 5 penalty points, taking him to 11 points but retaining his licence. Our client was understandably delighted.
