Dangerous Driving Airdrie Sheriff Court Becomes 3 Points

Kept Licence
Airdrie Justice Of The Peace Court

The allegation was denied. Ultimately, a sensible prosecutor accepted that this was a speeding offence and accepted our client's position that his speed was no more than 100mph.

Our Mr Simpson appeared at Airdrie Sheriff Court on 21st September 2023 and addressed the Court in mitigation. The very experienced Sheriff imposed 3 penalty points on his driving licence and restricted the financial penalty to £200.

This was less about our brilliance than the over zealous prosecutor who put the case into court in the first place.
