Dangerous Driving Dumbarton Cyclist Overtake

Dashcam footage is now commonly used by the Crown in driving cases. This matter was heard at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on 12 September 2019 and involved a pro-cycling campaigner who is well known for submitting complaints against motorists who cause him offence. Each to their own as they say however our client was pleased with the final outcome which involved a three penalty point endorsement and a nominal fine. The original charge would have seen our client off the road for at least 12 months and would have been catastrophic for his business.

We would rather not give the cyclist any more publicity so have decided not to link to his social media which shows the incident.
