Dangerous Driving Edinburgh - 4 Penalty Points

Kept Licence
Edinburgh Sheriff Court and Justice of the Peace Court

Our client was accused of driving dangerously by racing at speeds in excess of 80mph in a 40mph limit, and failing to stop for police officers in hot pursuit.

Our Mr Simpson attended at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on 28th August 2023 and managed to persuade the prosecutor that there was little merit in pursuing a conviction for dangerous driving. Instead, the Crown accepted careless driving and following a plea-in-mitigation, the Sheriff endorsed our client's licence with 4 penalty points and fined him £450.
