Dangerous Driving On M8 Excessive Speed Cutting Through Traffic

Our client had been charged with dangerous driving on the M8 westbound between junctions 13 and 23 by driving at excessive speed, changing lanes without taking proper precautions and failing to maintain a safe distance between other vehicles. The driving complained of was essentially a course of conduct over a significant distance. A plea was negotiated to the lesser charge of careless driving and our client received a five penalty point endorsement on his licence.
