The A74(M) is a hotspot for speeding drivers and the police often lay in wait to catch those motorists in a hurry. Our client was caught at 109mph and already had a terrible record for driving offences. We advised from the outset that a period of disqualification was inevitable. We managed to restrict this period to 3 months which allowed our client to survive in his employment as he was able to make arrangements in the short-term. It's unrealistic to believe that a disqualification can be avoided in every case.
