Our client was accused of 'racing' another individual at around 100mph in a 50mph limit, and was prosecuted for dangerous driving. Our Mr Simpson attended at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on 25th January 2024 and persuaded the Procurator Fiscal to reduce the charge to careless driving.

Following a plea-in-mitigation, the Sheriff endorsed our client's licence with 4 penalty points, a significant downgrading from the mandatory minimum 12 month ban that our client had initially faced.
