This was the third of three exceptional hardship proofs which we conducted in Dumfries Justice of the Peace Court on 13 June 2018, all of which were successfully argued. This was another specialist skills case. Our client was a postmaster with, in the words of Liam Neeson, a very specific set of skills which he had acquired over a very long career. Coupled with his family situation, the court was open to persuasion that exceptional hardship would be suffered in the event of a six month disqualification.

Successful Exceptional Hardship Proof

Our client had already pleaded guilty to a speeding charge (91mph on the M74) and contacted us for our expertise in an attempt to retain his licence. We successfully argued that exceptional hardship would be suffered if he were to lose his licence.
