Fort William Dangerous Driving 6 Points

Kept Licence
Fort William Sheriff Court and Justice of the Peace Court

We were instructed in a case where our client was accused of driving at more than double the applicable limit, contrary to the Road Traffic Act 1988, Section 2 (dangerous driving).

We received the evidence and entered into negotiations with the Crown, negotiations which ultimately bore fruit. The Procurator Fiscal's Office accepted that the driving was careless as opposed to dangerous

Our Mr Simpson appeared at Fort William Sheriff Court on 19th April 2022 and delivered a plea in mitigation. The Sheriff endorsed our client's licence with 6 penalty points and fined him £580.
