Dangerous Driving Reduced To Careless Livingston
Our client was accused of driving dangerously by: speeding and overtaking stationary vehicles at red traffic lights and entering the junction when it was unsafe to do so; and colliding with another vehicle and failing to stop.
The driving was really quite bad. Our Mr Lyon managed - somehow - to persuade the Crown to accept careless driving and drop the failure to stop and report charges.
Our Mr Miller appeared at Livingston Sheriff Court and persuaded the Sheriff to deal with the matter by imposing 7 penalty points. He was also fined £640.
