Livingston Dangerous Driving 4 Points

Kept Licence
Livingston Sheriff Court and Justice of the Peace Court

Our client was accused of dangerous driving by racing with another car, losing control of his vehicle and striking the vehicle in front, causing both to leave the roadway.

The allegation was serious, and having spoken to two other 'road traffic' firms, requested that we represent him.

Prior to the trial, we discussed the case with a senior prosecutor and fully explained the circumstances. A plea to careless driving was accepted and our Mr Simpson appeared at Livingston Sheriff Court on 24th April 2024 to mitigate on our client's behalf.

The Sheriff agreed with our Mr Simpson's submissions and endorsed his licence with 4 penalty points and fined him £395.
