Careless Driving Lanark Justice Of The Peace Court Case Deserted

The speed alleged in this case was pretty close to something which could have justified a prosecution under s.2 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 – 106mph on the A74(M). In any event this was a disqualification territory case in Lanark however the case was deserted following our plea to the competency on the grounds of time bar. Another case where knowing the rules of service made all the difference to our client’s driving licence.
