Our client was accused of causing serious injury to a pedestrian by careless driving.

The incident was captured on CCTV and the pedestrian was hospitalised as a result of the incident, having suffered multiple fractures.

This case lasted well over a year and involved around half a dozen court appearances.

Our Mr Simpson appeared on the final occasion on 21st August 2025 where a plea to careless driving was accepted. Our client's licence was endorsed with 4 penalty points and he was fined £260.
