Our client had already tendered a plea of guilty by letter when he engaged our services. In circumstances such as these we necessarily have to focus on damage limitation. It was a particularly serious allegation to which he had pled guilty: speeding on the A74(M) at 111mph. We attended Court with him and persuaded the Presiding Justice to limit the inevitable period of disqualification to a very reasonable 3 months. Our client was entirely realistic and we delivered a great result in the circumstances for which he was grateful.
