London Road in Glasgow is subject to a 30mph speed limit. It also home to a rather large Police station. Our client was clocked at 54mph and, if convicted, would have faced a period of disqualification under the totting-up provisions. We identified a technical line of defence which was upheld at trial and our client was acquitted of the charge.
