Dumfries Sheriff Court and Justice of the Peace Court

Our client was accused of using his mobile phone whilst driving and crashing his car. He was prosecuted for dangerous driving and our Mr Simpson appeared at Dumfries Sheriff Court for trial on 10th January 2024.

Following discussions with the Crown, a plea to careless driving was deemed to be acceptable.

Our Mr Simpson addressed the Court in mitigation resulting in our client's being endorsed with 6 penalty points and he was fined £425.

An excellent result.
