Stranraer Dangerous Driving Charge

Kept Licence
Stranraer Sheriff Court and Justice of the Peace Court

Our client was accused tailgating the police and swerving from side to side flashing his lights in an apparent road rage incident. He was charged with dangerous driving contrary to the Road Traffic Act 1988, Section 2 (as amended).

The case called for trial at Stranraer Sheriff Court on 17th May 2023.

Following persuasion the Procurator Fiscal was persuaded to accept a plea to the reduced charge of careless driving. The Sheriff endorsed our client's driving licence with only 4 penalty points.

An excellent result.
