VASCAR Speeding Defence

Kept Licence
Glasgow Sheriff Court and Justice of the Peace Court

VASCAR is a dash-mounted police issue calculator reminiscent of the flux capacitor from the DeLorean in Back to the Future - except that it operates above and below 88mph. Our client was charged with speeding at 84.06mph in a 50mph limit on the M8 eastbound near to Sannox Gardens. We successfully defended this case at trial. The Court agreed that the Crown had failed to prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt and threw the charge out. Our success meant that our elderly client had been driving for almost 50 years without accruing a single endorsement. Job done.
